From the mouths of our patients

“Absolutely love this place and their staff. They do an awesome job and my kids aren’t afraid of going to the dentist! I can’t ‘threaten’ them anymore when they eat too much sweets or is lazy to brush their teeth. They WANT to go haha. I’m glad I switched!!.”  -Nancy Luong

We love children and will see children of any age. We have a TV in the waiting room with books, puzzles, and balloons. Our treatment rooms all have over the chair flatscreen TVs and we can put on Nick Jr anytime!

Inside the Bhargava Family Dentistry office, we have a large wall filled with the beautiful smiles of so many of the children who we serve each and every year. We treat hundreds of families from infants to grandparents and enjoy these FAMILY relationships.

From their first visit to the unique needs of their growing mouths, we make extra effort to ensure our youngest patients have all the reasons to smile. We calm any fears some children may have of the dentist and we work to make sure they know, and even are excited about, the preventative care they need to learn to protect their own smile. Being local, we are not going anywhere. We hope to be your child’s dentist for life.

In order to make your child’s appointment easier, we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and in certain situations, IV sedation.

We will likely refer you or your child to an orthodontist for evaluation for braces. At each re-care visit (cleaning), we will constantly monitor your child and then recommend orthodontics if needed. For your convenience there is an orthodontist, Brian Smith, DDS, within the Broadmoor Dental Building but we also work together with many orthodontists in Wichita and the surrounding area.

Here is an example of dental trauma an athlete suffered who wasn’t protected. A mouth guard could have prevented this.

Mouth guards are great at protecting your child’s teeth when out on the field or court. You might even want to consider thinking of mouthguards as part of their uniform. If your child or teen is involved in sports, we can provide you with a mouth guard to protect their teeth from injury. We will individually design the mouth guard to mold perfectly in your child’s mouth so as to fit comfortably and provide the most effective protection.

We have seen many cases of sports-related trauma here at Bhargava Family Dentistry. We encourage parents to consider mouth guards for their student athletes in order to save from having to be faced with future dental emergencies.
