Dr. Shannon Bhargava   “It is great to be home. After practicing in Iowa and Illinois, we are finally in our hometown. We are here to stay. Wichita is a great place to raise a family and a great place for family dentistry.”

I was raised in Wichita and graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel high school.   I then attended the University of Kansas and Emporia State University, majoring in Biology.   I received my D.D.S. degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 1999.

I practiced general dentistry in Council Bluffs, Iowa until 2001.   I also held a position at Creighton School of Dentistry as an associate professor in dental anatomy.   Our family then moved to Springfield, Illinois until June 2003.   Following our move home, I joined Dr. Foley in 2003.   My husband Neil and I took over this practice completely in 2004.

We have three young children.   The oldest is just entering kindergarten and I spend most of my time with them, practicing dentistry periodically.   We both love children and want to focus our practice on comprehensive family dental care.   Loud kids, crayons, strollers, and toys are always welcome here!   We have great "prizes" and balloons, so your children will never be disappointed!   We also keep juice boxes and crackers on hand for those hungry toddlers.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, scrapbooking, reading and KU basketball.   I am an active member in many of my church groups, on the curriculum board at the YMCA, and a member of Junior League of Wichita.
