Dr. Neil Bhargava   “I want to be your dentist, your children's dentist, and if possible, your grandchildren's dentist. When you come to see us, we will treat you like family. I will do everything I can to present your treatment needs in a clear, caring manner.”

II was raised in Wichita and graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel high school.   I then attended the University of Kansas, majoring in Chemistry.   I received my D.D.S. degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2001.

I practiced general dentistry in Springfield, Illinois until June 2003.   I then practiced in a large group dental office in NE Wichita until Dr. Foley's retirement in April 2004.

My wife Shannon and I have three young children.   The oldest is just entering kindergarten and we spend most of our time watching them learn and grow!   KU sports are top draw at our home.   Besides cheering on the Jayhawks, I also enjoy golf, racquetball, coaching soccer, and traveling.

In our spare time, we volunteer our dental services through the Guadalupe Health Clinic, WSU School of Dental Hygiene, and multiple elementary schools in town serving those without access to proper dental care.   We also support the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

The gas nitrous oxide was first identified by Joseph Priestley in 1772. Years later, in the late 1790s, the British chemist Humphry Davy began experimenting with the effects of inhaling nitrous oxide. He noted it exhilarating effects, and the way it made him want to laugh-which gave the gas its popular name of "laughing gas." Davy published his findings in 1800, remarking that "As nitrous oxide... appears capable of destroying pain, it may probably be used with advantage during surgical operation."
